A house has been engulfed in flames in the Gympie region.
Multiple crews raced to put out the blaze on Sandy Creek Road at Veteran, shortly before midnight.
They arrived to find a residential structure well-involved in flames.

The blaze was out by 1.30am, although it flared up again briefly around 4am.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson says parts of the structure have collapsed.
Fire investigators have been called in to examine the cause of the blaze.
