Police are investigating after a safe containing cash was stolen from a Gympie business this week.
They’re appealing for public assistance into the reported break in on Monkland Street between 8am on Sunday and 8am Monday.
Initial investigations indicate an offender gained access to a business via the ceiling and left through the back roller door.

No one was in the building at the time of the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the break in or has CCTV footage of the area is urged to contact police.
